Your initial proposal should be very short (maximum 1,500 words / 2 pages) and non-confidential. It should include information on
- the compound you intend to use
- the new indication you plan to target
- a rough outline of your study (rationale, goals, timelines, budget)
- your CV, including a list of relevant publications
If your project is selected for the program, we will invite you to provide a non-confidential full study proposal.
A grant will be paid to your institute once your study proposal has been selected and you provide (upon invitation) your detailed full study outline.
If, after a second review, your full study proposal is accepted, we may offer further financial support for you to conduct your preclinical or clinical study. The terms and conditions will be then negotiated between your institute and Bayer in a separate contract according to fair market value criteria.
